Overall, a good afternoon read. What I enjoyed most? The Beatles references and yes, Jude's character did portray his Beatles's song nicely. I also enjoyed the ending, it tied everything together without too much drama. What I didn't like: some scenes were over the top (the burning scene early in the book WTF? This almost made me not finish the book).
Also the characters seemed to be a lot older than 17 which made their conversations a bit hard to believe (i.e. Jude described all the sexual experiences he's ever had as unsatisfying. Really? Compared to what? You're 17!)
. I never enjoy when the main character runs straight in to the arms of someone else
at the first sign of trouble, and in this case she stayed with him for 6 months without ever liking him. Tacky and unnecessary.
